Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Liaison Officer to join our Service Department team. Based at our Rockingham Operations, the role demands a great amount of flexibility and the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, and a proactive approach to help and support customers. You’ll be a real team player who thrives being in an open team environment

What you will do: 

  • Customer Support: Assist customers in system start-ups and shutdowns over the phone
  • Diagnosing faults over the phone – utilising monitoring portals
  • Data Analysis: Analyse portal data to identify faults or production issues and prepare detailed reports for customers.
  • Booking appointments for technicians and managing their schedules/commitments and mapping efficient runs
  • Access Management: Provide and manage access to portals for customers and authorised third parties.
  • Energy Provider and Connectivity Support: Identify and address grid voltage reduction issues by liaising with energy providers and Support customers during network provider changes and address faulty connectivity accessories.
  • Training and Documentation: assist in creation of process documentation, workflows and How-to guides for customers. 

Desired Skills and Experience

What Experience is required:

  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong customer service experience and skills
  • Proficient in MS office and strong general computer literacy
  • Technically inclined, with a solid understanding of IT systems and a passion for keeping up to date with relevant products and technology
  • Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Ability to interpret data and explain it clearly to customers
  • Excellent attention to detail  and problem-solving skills,
  • Ability to manage conflicting tasks, use initiative and work well under pressure,
  • Self-motivated with a professional and friendly approach,
  • Strong communication skills for dealing with customers, third party manufacturers and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Drivers Licence
  • Successful applicants will hold a current police clearance or be able to provide one within one month of commencing employment; and
  • The position is open to Australian citizens &/or persons that have a legal, valid right to work in Australia.
