Job Description
Are you tech-savvy with a knack for problem-solving and a technical aptitude? We are looking for a Monitoring Officer to oversee all monitoring-related issues across PV, EV chargers, and home-energy hardware. This role is perfect for someone who is tech-savvy, proactive, and keen to grow in a supportive environment.
Based at our Rockingham Operations, the role demands a great amount of flexibility and the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, and a proactive approach to help and support customers. You’ll be a real team player who thrives being in an open team environment.
Duties
You’ll be the main point of contact for monitoring and connectivity issues – anything related to internet, communication protocols, and device status across our solar and energy systems.
Technical Troubleshooting: Resolve monitoring concerns by assessing and implementing software update, minimising the need for technicians to visit site.
Data Analysis: Analyse portal data to identify faults or production issues and prepare detailed reports for customers.
Access Management: Provide and manage access to portals for customers and authorised third parties.
Energy Provider and Connectivity Support: Identify and address grid voltage reduction issues by liaising with energy providers and Support customers during network provider changes and address faulty connectivity accessories.
Training and Documentation: assist in creation of process documentation, workflows and How-to guides for customers. Undertake manufacturer specific training.

Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
Solid IT understanding – networks, connectivity, cloud platforms, apps, modems/routers.
A fast learner with strong problem-solving skills.
Tech-savvy, curious, and able to navigate multiple systems confidently.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
Team-player attitude (culture fit is important!)
